This website belongs to the Hai Al Shatti project in Muharah, Wilayat Al Musanaah, and is operated by Al Raed Investments (Sultanate of Oman) as the data controller. For questions about personal data, write to info@alraed.om.
02The data we collect
When you register interest we collect your name, phone number, email, the unit type you are interested in and your optional message, together with the submission time and IP address for spam protection.
We do not collect sensitive data and do not request a civil number at this stage.
03Purpose and legal basis
We use your data to contact you about Hai Al Shatti before and after launch, on the basis of the explicit consent you give when submitting the form, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022). You may withdraw consent at any time.
04Cookies and analytics
Nothing on this site measures your visit until you choose Accept in the cookie notice. If you choose Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, neither Google Analytics nor Vercel Analytics loads, and the site works exactly the same.
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC as its processor) sets two cookies on this site: _ga, which tells one browser’s visits apart, and _ga_<ID>, which keeps the current session. Both expire after 13 months. Google Signals and every advertising feature are switched off, so the data is not used for advertising or linked to a Google account, and Google Analytics does not store IP addresses.
Besides the pages viewed, Google Analytics records two events: a tap on the phone number, the email address or a WhatsApp link (contact_click, with the channel, the language and the page), and a successful register-interest submission (generate_lead, with the language). Neither carries anything you type into the form.
Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc.) sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It counts page views using a hash of the request that is discarded within 24 hours, so it cannot recognise you on a later day.
Both services may process this data in the United States. Google LLC and Vercel Inc. are certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and both use standard contractual clauses where that framework does not apply.
We measure visits only on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and the consent provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree 6/2022). You can withdraw it at any time by choosing Cookie settings at the foot of any page: Google Analytics stops at once and its cookies are deleted. Withdrawing does not affect measurement that took place before.
Your answer is kept in your browser’s local storage for 12 months, after which we ask again. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us. Two other items are strictly necessary and are never used for measurement: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, which remembers the language you chose and is deleted when you close your browser, and the Reduce motion setting at the foot of the page, kept in local storage until you change it.
Two maps on the site come from third parties and are not part of the analytics choice. The map at the foot of every page and on the contact page is embedded from Google Maps: when you reach it, your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy. The aerial map on the Location & Master Plan page loads its imagery from Esri’s servers (server.arcgisonline.com), which receive the same technical details with each image they send.
05Sharing and transfers
Register-interest requests are delivered to the sales team through an email provider (Resend), and the site is hosted on Vercel. Data may be processed on those providers’ servers outside the Sultanate of Oman under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell your data or share it with other marketers.
Only with your consent, Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics receive technical usage data; neither receives anything you type into the register-interest form. How they work, and the two embedded maps, are set out under “Cookies and analytics” above.
06Retention
We keep register-interest requests for no more than 24 months from launch, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first, unless the law requires otherwise.
07Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or request the transfer of processing, by writing to info@alraed.om. We will respond within the period set by law. You may also lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology as the competent authority.
To withdraw your consent to having your visits measured you do not need to write to us: choose Cookie settings at the foot of any page, then Reject (see “Cookies and analytics”).

We may update this policy from time to time; the date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
